Proflow head bolt insert washers are designed to be used on Ford Windsor cylinder heads in applications where you have 7\/16\" head bolts being used in 1\/2\" bolt holes. This stops the head bolt hole distorting on aluminium heads when using 7\/16'' bolts on 289 \/ 302 standard Windsor blocks.
